  • How many training hours are currently required to practice massage in the State of Arkansas?

    The State of Arkansas requires 500 hours.
  • How do I get 500 hours of training at ARTMIS?

    Attend School Monday to Thrusday 9:00 - 4:00 for 5 months. 
  • How long does it take to earn 500 hours of training at ARTMIS?

    Due to the flexibility of our schedules, the timing varies greatly. However, if you are able to take programs consecutively you could finish in as little as five months. For specific advice concerning your personal availability and goals, please call our admissions counselor at (501) 623-3888.
  • How much does tuition cost?

    It depends on your program track. Please consult our tuition chart for details.
  • Do you offer financial aid?

    We offer tuition ease, a flexible monthly payment program to help defer costs acquired during your training. Payments can be spread out over a period not to exceed 12 months. To learn more about this program and how it affects you, visit our tuition chart.
  • Is ARTMIS recognized by the State of Arkansas as an approved educational institution?

    Yes.  We are a State approved licensed facility. 
  • What are the days and times ARTMIS's classes are offered?

    Classes are offered Monday to Thursday 9:00 am to 4 pm
  • How much does massage therpist make?

    This amount varies. An individual massage therapist's salary can be anywhere from $10,000 for part time workers, to $70,000 and above, depending upon your hourly rates and the number of massages you do per day.  If you open your own massage buisness or spa, you might make as much as six figures in yearly income.
